Resident!  Do you know why Sandburg Halls has tennis courts, basketball hoops, Fall Carnival, a FREE baseball game at Miller Park,, and a Ping Pong Table?  It's because of SHAC, the Student Housing Administrative Council.  We are the residence hall student government and we work for you, the residents. 

So why join SHAC?

SHAC is your opportunity to become a leader, a team player, and make life better here for everyone.  We work with the University Housing professional staff to make sure your voice is heard every day. We collaborate with Housing Administration to ensure that  the residents have control over their quality of life here. You, or any resident, can get involved in SHAC and become part of an organization working every day to improve the residence halls.

SHAC encourages all residents to participate!  We have two meetings a month and  a bunch of committees, from the Green committee to the Events committee.  We also go to conferences ALL OVER THE NATION!  Being involved in SHAC you are guaranteed to meet tons of amazing people, make brand new friends, and change things for the better in the Residence Halls.
